Our next step into data driven protection - the Worlds First Intelligent Safety Shoes

For years, Quin has been synonymous with intelligent helmets — redefining head protection in cycling, motorsport, and industrial sectors through crash detection, emergency response systems, and real-time impact data. But our mission has never been solely about helmets. It’s always been about people, and protecting lives wherever the risk lies. That’s why we’re proud to announce our expansion into a new frontier of safety: smart footwear.

In partnership with Båstadgruppen’s Monitor brand — a leading name in Scandinavian safety footwear — Quin technology is now integrated into the world’s first intelligent safety shoe. Set to launch in Autumn 2025, this shoe is more than a product milestone. It’s a signal of what’s possible when smart technology meets everyday workplace protection.

Why Shoes, Why Now?

Slips, trips, and falls are among the most common causes of injury in the workplace. Over 37 million occupational falls occur globally each year, with construction workers being among the highest risk groups. These aren’t rare events. They are daily threats — and ones that deserve smarter solutions.

By bringing our impact detection, specialized algorithms, and emergency response system to the ground level, we’re turning safety shoes into intelligent wearables to further our mission of protecting as many lives as possible. Whether someone falls from a ladder, slips on a wet surface, or experiences a sudden impact, a Quin equipped shoe detects the incident in real time, automatically alerts emergency contacts, shares the wearer’s location and status, and can connect directly to emergency services through Quin’s ResQ feature.

This Has Always Been Quin

This isn’t a pivot. It’s a progression.

Quin has always stood for intelligent safety — integrating motion intelligence, impact analysis, and real-world emergency response into the gear people already wear. Shoes are simply the next step (literally and figuratively) in our long-term vision: to make all protective equipment smarter, more proactive, and better connected.

Our winning aspiration has always been clear:
To become the leader in real-life data to reduce injuries and save lives.

From heads to feet, we’re extending our safety ecosystem, ensuring that no part of the body is left behind in the fight against preventable injury.

Fast, Focused, Future-Ready

What makes this achievement even more exciting is the speed at which it became a reality. From ideation to prototyping and integration, Quin’s platform proved its flexibility and adaptability across product types. In less than a year, we moved from helmets to shoes — without losing focus, quality, or purpose.

And we’re not stopping here. Our technology is built to scale — not just across industries, but across categories. From theft deterrent systems in bicycles to advanced lock security, we’re exploring every avenue where smart safety can make an impact. If there’s a risk, we’re asking: how can we help?

A Smarter Future for Everyone

Partnering with Monitor is not just about launching a product — it’s about creating a category. Together, we’re making cutting-edge safety more accessible to the workers who need it most, in one of the most hazardous environments out there: the jobsite.

This is only the beginning. Because when safety becomes smart, it becomes powerful. And that power — to protect, to alert, to respond, to save — is what Quin is all about.
