Kabuto and Quin Announce Partnership to Bring Intelligent Safety Technology to Kabuto’s Latest Helmet Range

The racing-derived full-face helmet combines FIM FRHPhe-02 homologation, Mips and Quin technology, with an early showcase at the Australian MotoGP ahead of its official launch at EICMA 2026.

London, UK, 20 October 2026: Quin, a leader in intelligent safety technology, has announced a new partnership with Japanese helmet manufacturer Kabuto, bringing advanced connected safety capabilities to Kabuto’s motorcycle helmet range, beginning with the all-new KF-2F.

One of the main highlights of Kabuto’s presence at EICMA 2026 will be the debut of the KF-2F, the brand’s next-generation racing-derived full-face helmet, bringing together FIM FRHPhe-02 homologation, Mips and integrated Quin crash detection technology.

The collaboration brings together Kabuto’s expertise in helmet design, engineering and motorcycle racing with Quin’s intelligent safety technology, creating the next generation of helmets designed to offer protection that extends beyond the moment of impact.

The KF-2F will feature both the Quin Pod and Quin Tag, combining intelligent impact detection, emergency alert capabilities and access to a Digital Medical ID. Together, these technologies are designed to help riders raise the alarm following a dangerous event and give those assisting them access to critical information when it matters most.

With a strong heritage in motorcycle racing and performance-focused helmet development, Kabuto is an important addition to Quin’s growing network of global helmet partners. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing rider safety through engineering, innovation and connected technology.

"“Quality of Heart” is at the core of everything we do at Kabuto. Since our founding in 1982, we have listened to riders, refined our expertise, and continued to pursue better helmets. Embracing new technologies has also been an important part of our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of riders. Our partnership with Quin is a natural extension of this commitment. By combining our respective expertise, we look forward to bringing added value and support to riders around the world."

Hiroki Kimura · President of OGK KABUTO Co., Ltd.

"“Kabuto’s heritage in motorcycle racing and helmet innovation makes them an exciting partner for Quin. With the KF-2F, we’re combining their engineering expertise with intelligent event detection to extend the helmet’s role beyond impact protection. The Australian MotoGP is a fitting place to introduce it, among the riders, engineers and teams whose experience drives progress on the track and shapes the helmets we wear on the road. Together, we’re bringing that progress to more riders through connected safety.”"
